I can’t decide if I’m excited for fall or unwilling to let summer go yet.. We still have another week to go before the official start of autumn!
New (blue suede) shoes!
I don’t always take selfies, but when I do, I wear this shirt.
Work picnic! Volleyball was a lot of fun.
I can never resist a good sunset shot.
On the Mount Holyoke campus before book club again. It’s always weird being the only professionally-dressed person around (since I’m coming straight from work).
I really hate that it’s getting dark out so early.
These sound gross, right?? (I hate fake apple flavored things, so I’m a little biased against the Caramel Apple, but Candy Corn?? Blech.)
There was a terrific thunderstorm while I was in Target, so I sat and read Real Simple while waiting it out. (Yes, I forgot my umbrella, and yes, I’m in the furniture aisle.)
THE BIG E! It’s our local fair, and it’s truly the start of autumn for me. Kim and I went on opening day, mostly to scope out our knitting entries. (Heaven forbid they post the results online before the fair opens…)
I entered a pair of gloves, the Teasdale shawl, and my wedding parasol!
This year was Kim’s first time entering, and she won judge’s choice on top of 1st prize! I’m so proud of her.
Then there was the food.
Maine baked potato!
Belgium waffle sundae!
We stopped and watched this guy’s magic show. Kim got pulled on stage to “help” (sadly, those pictures are on her camera), and he ate fire. NBD.
Another sunset. Duh.
The butter sculpture in progress
That’s a lot of pancakes!
And finally, I had to talk Kim off the ledge from kidnapping this adorable baby goat. (Kid-napping, ha!)
Have a good week!
